Contains

380mg of standardized liquorice dry extract which has 8.5-12.0mg glycyrrhiznic acid.

Side effects

Since the extract of liquorice contains excessive amounts of glycerin, therefore it creates some side effects such as increase in blood pressure, release of potassium and absorption of water and potassium. By consuming this product, rarely do these side effects appear. If this product is consumed for a long period of time (more than 6 months), side effects may reappear and by terminating the product for two weeks, side effects will again disappear.

Restrictions

This product must not be used for patients with cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, liver cholestatic diseases, kidney disorders and children below 6 years of age.

Pregnancy and lactation

This product is not recommended during this period of time.

Drug interactions

This product must be taken with care along with hormone medicine and corticoesteroids. This product must not be taken simultaneously with anti arrhythmic drugs.

Instructions and how to use

In the treatment of stomach ulcers, this tablet should be taken three times daily each time two tablets. For duodenal ulcers, this product can be increased up to six times a day, each time two tablets.

Storage

Keep this product away from light and humidity and at 20-25 degrees centigrade.
