Contains

60 mg of standardized dry extract of Ginko biloba leaves providing 2-4 mg of total flavanoids as hyperoside.

Instructions and how to use

For patients with headache and dizziness due to vascular disorders, product must be taken three times a day, each time one tablet for six weeks. For treatment of the decrease of blood circulation to brain cells and veins, product must be taken three times a day, each time 1-2 tablets for three weeks. For cardiovascular blockage disorders, product must be taken three times a day and each time one tablet for three weeks.

Side effects

Slight digestive system problems, headache, increase of heart rate, allergic reactions and Stione-Jhonson Syndrom have been reported with usage of this product. If product is used more than the recommended amount, platelet activity may stop and bleeding may occur, decrease of vitamin B6 may also occur, neurotoxicity and as a result seizure and coma may occur.

Restrictions

This product is restricted for children under 12 years of age, patients allergic to Ginko and also patients who have elective surgery.

Pregnancy and lactation

This product is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Drug interactions

This product increases the effect of MAOIs medicine. There is a chance of bleeding if this product is used simultaneously with anti bloodclotting medicine. This product must also not be used simultaneously with anti inflammatory medicine such as NSAIDs. This product must not be used with diuretic medicine.
