Based on 46.4 mg luteolin in each tablet. Also contains dried Trigonella Foemum Graecum and dried extract of Fenugreek seeds.

If physician has given no other prescription, product must be taken three times a day, each time one tablet.

Restrictions

If there is any allergy to peas or fenugreek. ( because of the probability of appearance of cross over reaction ).

During pregnancy and lactation

Appropriate use of fenugreek in food diet is of no danger. However, the safety in excessive use of fenugreek has not been evaluated scientifically.

Side effects

Based on a clinical research, the use of 50 gr fenugreek seed twice daily causes weak digestive symptoms such as diarreah and bloating, which disappear within 3-4 days. Allergic reactions have been reported but are very rare.

Drug interactions

Based on pharmacological evidence and case reports, the below interactions are probable:

All synthetic hypoglycemic drugs have adverse effects including drop in blood sugar, weight gain caused by Sulfony Lureas and gastrointestinal symptoms, lactic acidosis and Vit B12.

If this product is used simultaneously with other blood sugar reducing medicine, it can create a good and effective drug interaction.

If product is used simultaneously with other products that include iron, then iron absorption is blocked and therefore consumption of iron complimentary products must be within a time interval of 2 hours from Glucorex - B.

Since fenugreek has cumarin, there are some worries theoretically in the simultaneous use of fenugreek with varfarin, since it increases the danger of bleeding. Occurrance of this state is not probable. In a study with the control of plasbo, fenugreek has shown to have no effect on platelet gatherings or even fiberinolitic activities.

Important notes

Keep product far from sight and reach of children.

Keep product in a closed container, far from light and at 15-30 degrees centigrade room temperature.

If there is an excessive use of fenugreek by thyrotoxicose patients, monitoring of these patients is required.

Pay close attention to the expiration date of the product.
