Drug Interaction
Cyclosporine, Medications changed by the liver interacts with barberry.
Pregnancy and lactation
The berberine in barberry can pass from a mother's body to the fetus by the placenta, therefore this product is prohibited during pregnancy. It also can be transferred to an infant through breast milk, and might cause brain damage.
